It was a sound lesson in how important your performance of the message is. Barrys body language sucked!
One example is that he looked down when Mitt was talking. When Barry was talking Mitt looked right at him and seemed to be listening. You should listen to be persuasive! Especially on your blog,

Malcolm Gladwell talks about body language and persuasion, but we struggle to find practical application of his concepts. Stephen King on the other hand nails it in his time travel novel “11/22/63”. Here is Kings quote about listening (28 seconds.) As a matter of fact it is one of the best quotes on listening I have ever heard. If you find a better one, let me know, I want to see it. Here is the last part: “…making the other guy feel like the most knowledgable, brilliant and intellectually savvy person on the planet…” Please give me a tip for a book on body language and persuasion in the comments.
