Andreas Dietzel gets his PlayBook
Today I had lunch with Andreas Dietzel. I gave him a book that hopefully will help him to sell his expertise to have some fun on his free time.
This is a step-by-step book that showed me the first steps towards doing what I love on a full time basis. One important secret is, as the cover says, “… and get paid for it”. I needed to get paid in order to put in the time and effort to do quality work. The best way to find out if you can get paid enough is to do it. Here is how:
You have been out mingling on behalf of the company where you work. You have just met a young lady and understood one of her needs. She really likes going to the opera, but has not had the time to go there in several months. Now you are back at the office with an idea of who you want to connect her with. Your friend Allisters can meet up with her here on the island, that will save her the time of travelling in to the mainland where the opera lies. He can share some of his knowledge about opera‚ acoustics and voice control. This might increase her appreciation the next time she goes to the opera. If they get along well, maybe he will sing a little opera for her…
